Podcasts
Produced by law students
This podcast is produced as part of the advanced legal English course Law Through Media, which was introduced in April 2022.
From topic choice to podcast
Students participating in the course work in pairs and choose a topic from one or more of six broad categories relating to different aspects of media coverage and the way the law is depicted. During the course students hold a 60-minute “studio session” on their chosen topic in which the other course participants are the audience. Following this the topic is consolidated into a 15-minute podcast.
Students are given the help they need to prepare, record and improve their podcasts, but are entirely responsible for the content and style of presentation and for editing their recordings to produce a final version for publication.
New episodes are produced each semester and published in April and September.
